Your everyday time toolkit

Date difference

Count the days between two dates, whether you are planning ahead or looking back.

Calendar days between dates

—

How many days is that?

The default result subtracts the start date from the end date. The same date produces zero days. Select “Include the end date” for an inclusive count; the same date then produces one day. Reversed dates produce a negative result, including a negative inclusive count.

Calendar days, not elapsed hours

This tool uses the proleptic Gregorian calendar and counts date boundaries. It does not measure elapsed time in a particular time zone: a local day can be shorter or longer than 24 hours around daylight-saving changes. Week totals are groups of seven calendar days. Weekends and public holidays are included.
